Chopping wood and carrying water…

Once a chela (student) of the Buddha so the story is told, asked the enlightened one, what does enlightenment feel like, how does it appear different from before?

The Buddha responded…

Before enlightenment,   - Chopping wood and carrying water.

After enlightenment, - Chopping wood and carrying water.

And so it is was with the shift in consciousness of earth, the earth’s inhabitants at the end of one age and the moving into the new age on 12/12/12 and 12/21/12.

As 2012 comes to a close, many were expecting changes based upon the biblical book of revelations, in which chaos and destruction prevail, while some others were looking forward to the coming of a “golden age” where peace and prosperity prevail. There are many religious prophesies as well as those of many indigenous peoples,(Mayans, Hopi, aborigines, etc.) some of which include an apocalypse end time scenario referring to the end of the world, which Hollywood dramatized for us all with frightening stories in several movies.

What has been told of this end time event in the Hindu cosmology is that every 26,500 (+/-) years we cycle through ages that are called the yugas. At the dawning of the ages, there is an enlightened age (the Sat or Satya yuga) followed by a progressive dimming of consciousness into the Treta yuga,the Dvapara yuga, and finally sinking into the darkest of these ages the Kali yuga – which begins with the first killing of another being, then at the ending of the Kali yuga, the cycle begins again with the dawning of a new golden age of enlightenment, the Sat yuga. This view describes the precession of the equinoxes through the astrological signs and where we have just come to is the end of the age of Pisces, moving into the age of Aquarius.  Many will remember that song by the 5^th dimension...and guess what, we are moving out of the 3^rd dimension of consciousness, passing through the 4^th and into the 5^th dimension with this 2012 shift of consciousness. 

The much publicized Mayan calendar came to an end on December 21^st, and some were expecting a major shift in their external reality at midnight on that day, yet December 22^nd came and very little had changed to a noticeable degree at least in the “external reality of the matrix” consciousness... however, leading up to this time and since there have been energy shifts which are being accelerated by energy being beamed toward earth by solar flares and other cosmic events and bodies, and this shift has been ignited in the internal awareness of many, and is being radiated out to and to within others with which they come into contact and interact.

What this new energy of the “dawning of the age of aquarius”, “golden age”, “satya yuga” is providing to us is the invitation to create the new world that we want to see.  You may or may not have noticed, that the thoughts that you are thinking are becoming manifest in a rather frequent and immediate way.  Take care for your words, thoughts and your desires, as you will soon begin to notice that what you “think about you will bring about”. With very few exceptions, we all long for love, peace and prosperity.

Looking at world events, we can begin to see people are less tolerant of being financially enslaved, living under the constant threat of war, government tyranny, and fear perpetrated by those who wish to maintain the status quo causing events of a false flag nature designed to produce fear and the resultant request for security from harm, and on it goes. As more are awakening to this new creative energy, the changes we have been anticipating will become ever more evident as we focus on the world we wish to see and manifest and cease giving energy and support to that which we want to see removed and released from our experience.

This year for me was a winding down, downsizing  and letting go of many things in my life that no longer serve me, in preparation for the new experiences I anticipate coming in these next few months and years.  The major exception to this was that I also experienced the loss of one of my best friends, a constant, loyal guardian and companion of 11 years, the beautiful samoyed, Mikasa. She is greatly missed, now I have to remember to lock my doors when I leave the house...as this new age advances, even that action will no longer be necessary.

 

So I have many things to be grateful for at year end, two wonderful, successful and helpful grown children, two amazing, fabulous grand children, my menagerie consisting of the sanctuary’s animals.  Of those ten pairs of hungry little eyes that have been in my care for the past many years, during this past year, with the loss of my dog and one of the hens, Coco,  that number is now down to eight pairs --- two macaws (Shasta & Sedona -- pictured below), three kitties (Ebony, Smokey silver toes, and her son Ashley silver toes and the three hens, Amanda, Dixie Chick, and Francie  (who finally after a major molt have again resumed laying).  With a solid roof over my head, a warm place to sleep, clean water, ample food and firewood, transportation, my heart is grateful that my needs are covered.

To all who choose to share this space and these thoughts, I wish for all of you and for all others as well, a very healthy, happy, abundant, peaceful and joyous new year and new age!

The Great Deception - AGAIN

The Great Deception…

Is it all coming down – are we beginning to realize what has happened, how we have been duped, lied to, mislead, misinformed or are we still in denial? 

Sometimes I have the feeling of having been an unwilling part of a psychological experiment, like the famous Pavlovian dog - ring a bell , present food, dog salivates, then just the ringing of the bell causes salivation, only in our case the PTB (powers that be) give us the impression that they are becoming more benevolent, only to take the food away at the last moment, leaving us hungry in anticipation of being fed (insert here any one of your desired results, e.g., peace, prosperity, - life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness)

Human nature exhibits cognitive dissonance when it comes to our most treasured beliefs, such as:

The government would never do that to us, politicians represent the interests of the voters, all voting in the USA is fair and correctly tabulated – we have honest elections, there is basically no inflation, unemployment is at a level that is reasonable, what we were taught as history is completely true, the “holy book” of the religious belief of your choice is 100% correct whatever is written therin, etc.  ..

The examples are endless of the dis-information we are being bombarded with on the nightly news – all for the purpose of influencing the formation of our opinions and beliefs, rather than supplying us with truth, because if the truth were known, the people would be angry, might even rebel and be harder to control.

But what happens when the truth is revealed?  Beliefs we have held for virtually our whole lives are shown to be false…that is when the cognitive dissonance sets in, and the following emotional reactions occur in an attempt to reconcile the believed untruths with the actual reality…

Denial – this can not be happening it can’t be real! (NOT here in America)

Anger – It’s not fair, this is not right!.

Bargaining – Just let me get through this, so I can carry on with my life (see my children grow up, graduate, have children, etc. or whatever goals you may have in life).

Depression – This is so terrible – why bother with anything – leads to apathy that is the killer of incentive to do anything about the situation – a hopelessness that seems to generate the feeling that “since I am only one person, there is little I can do to change things…” (people seem to get stuck in the apathy)

And sometimes finally if the resolve to act comes into play:

Acceptance – it is all going to be OK, I just have to act on this new knowledge.

And what actions are viable in this new knowledge…

Ask questions and be skeptical of what we are being told by authority figures in society, stop blindly following authority, just because “they say so”, question authority especially in the political and financial fields – find your own truth by turning off the programming noise and distractions of TV, radio, entertainment and just think about things, be responsible for your thoughts and actions. Consider the assumption that rights are the innate possession of the people, granted to them by the Creator, not their rulers or government.

The granting of power to the government attracts the predator class because the nature of government is to govern (in other words exert control over us in all areas of our lives, which politicians are only too eager to write endless laws in order to accomplish) because a powerful government that can give you everything that you want or need can also take away everything as well – they FORCE people to do what they want them to do by coercion using the laws they create to enforce their will on people.  And do not think for a moment that there is much difference between the major agendas of the two political parties, both are controlled from the top by the same power elite who dictate the agenda to be followed for their benefit, not that of the people.

The intention of the original documents and preceding interactions of the founding fathers was to give us a republic, in other words a protectorate – a system that was designed to protect lives, liberty and property of the minority from theft of the majority.  It is a generally known truth that once a majority of voters discover that they can vote for the candidates who will bestow upon them generous gifts from the public treasury, they will do so to secure these benefits, at the expense of those others who will be forced to pay for them via theft (taxation) with eventual resultant financial collapse due to loose fiscal policy – usually followed by a dictatorship.

The purpose of the state is, not to grant rights, but to secure them and protect them. If the state has the power to grant rights, it also has the power to take them away, and that concept is incompatible with personal liberty. If the state (government) presumes to grant us our rights, when they are ready to take them away, all they have to do is pass a law authorizing it.

Remember the statement, “POWER corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely”… however, giving your personal power away – having no power of your own is even more dangerous because a powerful government that can give you everything that you want or need can also take away everything as well – use the power you have been given of discrimination, independent thought and the ability to act responsibly.

So a final action to consider, if you do not like what you see going on in our country, to use a phrase from the past, when it comes time to cast your vote for the future, you may want to “throw the bums out”!

Unless you have been living under a rock in a cave for the past twenty years, you most likely are familiar with the Star Wars movies… the battle between the light side and the dark side of the “Force”  as portrayed by the battles between Luke Skywalker and  Darth Vader (who it turns out is his father)…

The recent replay of the drama of September 11, 2001 with all of the commemoration of the drama which represents our national loss of innocence and lives lost in one of the most horrific events in recent times was what few of us realized at the time the new Pearl Harbor or the excuse to begin the war without end against our fellow humans, who happen to be targeted in the latest divide and conquer false flag to instigate conflict and in the process create a new source of revenue for the cabal that uses war as the money making machine to feed the greed of the global elite cabal.  Humans are by nature peaceful, very few would choose to kill and maim for sport or pleasure but when a government creates a phony event in order to convince the populace that war is the answer to a problem it is now called a “false flag” operation.

For a long time I was having a difficult time comprehending the actual significance of this term, but as the realization that all of our major wars were precipitated by events to arouse the public into a state of “we have to go to war to protect ourselves" from those “other people who are our enemies”  it became clear that this is another of those “problem, reaction, solution” forms of manipulation of our minds, beliefs and emotions in order to gain support for something that we would otherwise abhor.

False-flag incidents are commonly used by all countries to create a pretext for war or a domestic crackdown, restriction of civil liberties of its citizens such as the implementation of the Patriot Act (which was already completely written prior to the destruction of the World Trade Center twin towers and building 7) presented to Congress within mere hours of the event.

• There is reason to believe that the destruction of the U.S.S. Maine was a false-flag operation.
• The Japanese created a false-flag incident to kickstart their invasion of China. Hitler burned down the Reichstag in a false-flag operation.
• President Roosevelt came precious near to one by failing to report that he knew a Japanese fleet was bearing down on Pearl Harbor. He wanted America to join World War II and so he kept his knowledge hidden.
• Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of State Lyman Lemnitzer was planning a false-flag incident against Cuba in the 1960s, revealed by the now-infamous Northwoods report. (Google.)
• President Johnson created a false-flag operation, claiming an American warship was attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin when none was.
• He also ordered the attack on the U.S.S. Liberty, which was also a false-flag incident, designed to draw the U.S. into a war with Egypt. Unfortunately the Liberty refused to sink.

The forces of the dark are making their last ditch efforts to foment WW3 involving the US, Israel and Iran in a nuclear confrontation so they can bring about the Armageddon they believe will bring about their new world order...and the culling of the population down to a “manageable” one-half  million people they can enslave and control. In the process of this madness, they could just destroy this whole beautiful planet, although this is not an aspect of the divine plan. There is a war on for your mind, your beliefs and your emotions.  Only you can prevent yourself from falling victim to the onslaught.

Austerity or Abundance?

The exertion of control via teaching us to believe and adopt attitudes that perpetuate poverty consciousness are imposed and perpetrated by those who we think of as the elite/cabal/illuminati desiring to usurp our energy resources for their benefit. It has been said that by creating circumstances that engender anger and fear, a vibration is generated that those of dark intent are able to use for food to keep them going, but by our releasing fear/anger, this deprives them of the sustenance they require to remain in control.

Over the past several years, personally I have had the experience of living in a state of virtual abundance, while experiencing a severe shortage of the energy that manifests itself as our unit of exchange, namely money. 

This condition has forced me to manage the meager funds I receive from the “social security” that I paid into for well over 50 years, and is now being “returned to me” as a “safety net”.  This virtually has kept me in the mindset of a state of lack -- causing me worry and stress, especially during the second half of the month, when the allotment  is running out, and the question arises almost daily, will there be enough of (whatever supply I rely upon)  either food for myself or my “10 pair of hungry little eyes” also known as my furry and feathered babies, or the nutritional supplements I require to maintain a semblance of wellbeing, or the other supplies that are required to maintain cleanliness and relative comfort. Some have advised that I would not be as stretched to the limit, were I to get rid of my “babies” acquired in times where more cash was flowing in, but how do I decide which baby to throw out with the bathwater?  Not an option for me, as my children are a part of me and my life… so be it.

A recent “accident” which was described in my last posting has allowed me the lesson of learning that a) I am being constantly watched over and cared for and b) that there is an abundance of everything available.  By having accepted the concept in my younger years that there is virtue in delayed gratification and frugality in my subconscious thought processes I have managed to constrict/restrict the flow of this life giving sustenance into my experience. 

During this past month, the weather has warmed enough for me to “turn off the furnace to conserve fuel oil”.  Then this past week, it has turned colder, and yesterday morning as I was shivering in my home, I decided to “tough it out” and determined I would lay a fire in the fireplace if the weather did not warm up in the next few days….for the better part of the day, I was feeling cold, lethargic, uninspired and unmotivated.  All I wanted to do was to get warm.  Now this kind of austerity for me is extremely unpleasant as when I get cold, my body starts to shut down.  Yet, all I needed to do was to turn the switch on for the heat, which I finally did this morning, and now I am feeling SO much better.  I am extremely fortunate to have this option. I am reminded of those who do not, and my heart aches for them, especially since I, at present, have limited resources myself and can do little to help them.

The “stinkin thinkin” that we are given by so many in authority (e.g., those who are in power over us) is that it is virtuous to conserve, be frugal, do without, make do, experience lack, deprivation, austerity, poverty constriction, restriction  and delay gratification,  that these are somehow analogous to being good or spiritual, in the meanwhile they are flaunting their excesses and “laughing all the way to the bank”.

The key to unlock this concept for me came from the recent imposition upon Greece of the austerity programs requiring the population to cut back and forcing for these people do without necessities and conserve via their deprivation the resources of that country in order to repay banksters loans that were made to the country with monies that were actually created out of the use of these people’s energy as the collateral for the fiat paper money system that is prevalent throughout the world.  These people are collectively rebelling and saying no more, we have had enough of being used and abused, and it may well be the key to collapsing the old financial paradigm.

We are taught to sacrifice ourselves for the good of everyone else, rather than be “selfish”.  Yet this is really a self-defeating proposal. In explanation, most of us have listened to the preflight announcement about the use of the oxygen masks, in that we must first put on our own mask before assisting any of our children, as if we are experiencing hypoxia, we will not be much use or help to them or anyone else. Therefore, taking care of ourselves (we have taught being selfish is dishonorable and negative) is an absolute necessity before being in a position of strength with the necessary resources to be able to help another.  This concept of selfishness is debilitating, unless taken to excess.  How can any one respond (be responsible) when already depleted of the necessary life force to carry on normal functioning?  The statement attributed to the Master Jesus, “love your neighbor as yourself”, basically means you must love yourself in order to love your neighbor…otherwise how can you conceptualize the meaning of what it is to love?

This Universe, the Galaxy, the Creator, the beautiful water planet we call home are all abundant, and constantly creating.  To be in alignment with these energies is to also be abundant or pro-life (going toward light, life and love).  Conversely, to be in opposition to abundance or pro-death (poverty, lack, miserly) is to be going toward death, decay, and darkness.

In terms of prosperity and abundance, what all of this dialog boils down to, is that the choices we are making in this third dimensional reality of duality by our thinking and our choice of words we are choosing to

Go toward Life  being creative, joyful, abundant, prolific, free, loving, caring, responsible (able to respond), energetic, heart centered,  

Or

Go toward Death being morose, depressed, constricted, restricted, withering, withdrawn, complaining, unhappy and sad, angry, hateful.

These lists could go on, but the concept is clear.  Whenever I find myself thinking or speaking it terms that are going toward death rather than life, it is time to remind myself  to stop…”WAIT, CANCEL, CHANGE THAT THOUGHT!!!  The choice is clearly mine, and as long as I remain in control of my mind, and choose to think the thoughts that are in alignment with Love and Life, no matter what circumstances I attract to myself, they will be positive and lessons learned, rather than wasted with a negative fear based outcome feeding the forces that would choose to benefit from enslaving me and stealing my life force energy.

Car Karma, SUA accident and ??vindication??

SUA, accident and vindication…Car Karma

....and protection of guardian angels, much gratitude. but changes are inevitable and a major move is being planned for sometime this summer or possibly early autumn…

Saturday, (4/21) I decided to go to the local garden store (they were having an anniversary sale 25% off) so I got 3 tomato plants, some salad greens, some herbs and an artichoke (we'll see if that grows!)...then I went to the grocery store to get some 1/2 & 1/2 and sour cream...

BUT, upon leaving, I managed to get into an accident before getting out of the parking lotand am now "confined to quarters" so to speak, wings clipped, car not drivable at the moment.... and I am taking this as a "wakeup call", as some of you you know I have been talking about moving to be with my kids, and this just pushed the decision to do just that into a priority position... for the time, I am sticking close to home, my neighbor is being very helpful as far as getting me to town for groceries, etc., so all is well, just a bit inconvenient for the moment, since I live five miles out of town up in the  hills about 1000 feet up windy "mountain" roads from town, walking, for me is NOT an option!!!. 

I am OK, basically bruised from the deployment of the air bags and a bruised ego, and badly bruised car (smashed up broken windshield - from the air bags, & smashed in  front end).

Strange how these things happen, as I was putting my groceries in the trunk there was a local city policeman who drove by and waved at me for some reason, and I smiled back and continued about my business... as I was driving out to the stop light leaving the parking lot, the light had just turned red, and a large pickup truck stopped in front of me, and as I tried to stop, what I thought was that  my shoe or shoe lace gotten caught under the brake pedal, and I could not get my foot out from under the brake pedal, as the brake was not able to stop the car before I tail ended the pickup, which had a large trailer hitch just about the level of my license plate... so my front end connected with it which did stop the car!

 Fortunately neither he, nor his vehicle were damaged, but I was quite shaken up, and within seconds the policeman I mentioned above was at my door asking if I was OK, he opened the door and asked if I could get out...as the fumes from the airbags are noxious, and so, he basically handled the whole thing from there on, calling AAA for a tow truck, taking the report, and seeing to it that I got over into the shade to wait while the tow truck came (it was almost 90 degrees...), the tow truck loaded up my car, then took us both home... I was shaking for some time, then the adrenaline kicked in, so I was pacing about once I got home, called both the kids, then called AAA. The next day I did a lot of resting, and recovering, but nothing seems to be seriously injured.  I am SO fortunate that it was only the car that got broken, and no one was injured, other than my bruises I mentioned.

I was told that AAA would send someone out to look at the car the coming week, the tow truck driver said that since the air bags were deployed, that they may decide to total the car because fixing them and the damage may be too costly... The  woman I spoke to at AAA was really caring and  helpful, suggested a rental car while mine is being repaired, but I said I would wait until the adjuster came out to discuss what I need to do and what my options are (probably Tues or Weds)... Meanwhile, my neighbor has offered me the use of one of his cars if I need to go to town... (not sure I am ready to drive just yet), but good to know its available if I need it.

Later, in talking with my daughter, it seems that this is a kind of a push to get the moving started... I have been resisting it for almost two years, but this just shows me how vulnerable I am being alone and so far from town here, so its kind of like a "wake up call, push" to get the process going.  My body's ability balance and leg strength is problematic,  and although I do not want to admit it, there are limitations as to what I am able to do... so I think it is time to listen to the warning...aiming for summer???

Bruises are large, and ugly, but no pain involved, starting to go away a little and covered by my clothes, so not an issue. Turns out the only insurance I have is liability, so getting the car fixed will be an issue... taking baby steps on getting the issue resolved.

When I cleaned the glass out of the car, I realized how fortunate I am that I did not get any cuts or glass in my eyes, it was pretty bad...(thank you guardian angels!!). I was going to try to put the car into the garage in order to get it out of the rain, etc., and discovered that the accelerator was stuck full on... then remembered that the police officer mentioned that he had heard the engine racing just before it stopped... so have been in touch with my attorney, will have to have car checked for a "manufacturing defect" possibility, don't know if that will prove helpful, but I did speak to the police officer again yesterday, and he remembers that he had noticed that, and would be willing to testify to that in court if I determine it is worth while to file a "truthful suit" against Toyota, my attorney said that due to the age of my car, the cost to pursue it may not be worthwhile, so still on "hold”.

My neighbor is being extremely helpful, offered me the use of one of his cars, but after the scare of trying to move the car, I am still not quite ready to attempt driving... he had a meeting this AM with some of his buddies at the grocery store coffee area, so gave me a ride into town to get a few groceries today... he said he would look at the car in a few days when his back feels better...if he can get the hood open... and my son is due to have some time off after May 5, so probably nothing much will get resolved until then.  Meanwhile, I am sticking close to home (not much choice) and have upgraded the decision to move into a higher priority.... as my ex “wasband” says, getting older is the pits...!!!

Weather is very unsettled here at present, was hot last weekend, now raining off and on and temperature has dropped 40 degrees... even had a little hail today. 

My neighbor suggested I check the Internet for the acceleration problem... apparently Toyota has had many issues with this, and there is a lot of information on what is now termed SUA (sudden unintended acceleration ), and even several law firms that specialize in these cases.  Here are a few short excerpts from the interaction with one of those specialized law firms…

Visitor: My incident occurred on 4-21 when I was leaving a parking lot and when I tried to brake for a traffic signal my accelerator "went off" according to the police officer who was nearby and assisted me when I rear-ended a pickup truck in front of me. My question is this.. is it possible that this is a problem in my Toyota, which is a 1994 Celica? Thanks - I am in California.
Tina: We may be able to help you with that. Do you mind explaining the situation in a bit more detail?
Visitor: No problem, it may take a moment.
Tina: Please go ahead. Take your time.
Visitor: I was just leaving the grocery store, and came to the traffic light at the exit driveway. A pickup truck had stopped for the light. When I attempted to stop behind him, my car "went off" according to the officer, and I hit the trailer hitch in the rear of the pickup. I was not going any more than 5 mph, but was not able to make the car stop, and the officer said he heard the accelerator gunning.. the impact made the air bags deploy, and the front of the car is smashed in, the windshield is badly broken. ... etc... (edited out for brevity)

Visitor: BTW, the floor mat on the driver’s side was removed a year ago, and there is no additional mat, other than the standard carpeting.

Short story... both my prepaid legal attorney and the attorney from one of these law firms said that I probably do not have a case.  One since my car is too old (1994) and the second one because there were no injuries.  Apparently this "issue" ( of SUA) began with the 1998 and newer models...

Total irony is that now there are a total of 4 cars on the property here, none of which are drivable... life is strange sometimes.  My daughters comment to me this AM was "you are not really as independent as you would like to think that you are."  Too true... so it looks like the next 3 or 4 months will be preparing to move to SM, then it will be a marathon moving of "stuff”... will be busy times.

Well in the continuing saga... my neighbor has been getting me to the grocery store on Mon & Thurs.... expect my son to get here next Monday..

Weather here is windy and rain expected for tomorrow... but I have put in all the plants into the garden plus planted all the leftover seeds from last year,  plus a few new snow peas...bought some marigolds and petunias last trip to town, needed some flowers around... for my mood...

This morning, Sir Harold (my neighbor, who I have just dubbed my white knight, Sir Harold as of this AM), was able to open the hood of the car and look at the situation.  The good news is that there is NO damage under the hood, radiator not even touched, everything else fine... but he made a very interesting discovery... There is a small cable that attaches to the accelerator (throttle?) and a piece - sort of a small cylindrical bar which has a hole in it that a small pin is supposed to fit into I think, to somehow connect with the cruise control.  In this hole was a small VERY OLD RUSTY BENT NAIL!!!.   When he took out the nail, the cable for the cruise control slides off of the cylindrical bar, which I am not sure how this is supposed to work, but in any case the throttle was stuck when he looked at it. He had me get into the car, pump the gas pedal once then start it in neutral with the both the parking brake and foot brake on, and the engine raced up to 4K rpm immediately. Then he "unstuck" the system (he worked as a mechanic before he retired - I don't know the particulars, but he made it so it was no longer stuck full on.) So my SUA event was for real, but not the fault of Toyota.  His assessment was that the problem was caused by this "nail fix" that had been done - by his estimate perhaps even before I bought the car used in 1995, by the looks and condition of the nail, or some mechanic who had worked on the car a very long time ago.. So to fix it, would only mean replacing or unbending the  front bumper, replacing one headlight and the windshield and replacing the dash and airbags... but in order to just  drive it around town, it is probably safe enough to drive without doing much to the interior ( dash/airbag situation) and once those things are done.... there is no longer a working cruise control, but for around town that is not an issue.  So my guardian angels were on high alert and had a bit of extra duty, but made sure the accident happened in a parking lot vs. on the highway which was a major blessing...

Still on track for a move, but perhaps not as much of a rush?  As it is, there is a huge amount of stuff to do, take care of,  decide about whether to pack, store or get rid of, then there are deferred maintenance projects on the house as well.. planning stage right now, getting boxes and organizing packing, etc....

And I will be inviting people to come here and “selling” some of my treasures that I can no longer keep for “pennies on the dollar” so stay tuned in if you are interested… will likely be mid summer before I am organized enough to pull this part of the project off,

Mass Arrests - Changing Paradigms

This post is meant for any and all of you who are wondering just exactly WHYam I pointing out this information about the mass arrests and resignations that are taking place among the high level banking and corporate world –  including 450 resignations from world banks, investment houses and money funds – list current to 3/15/12.

It is not known under what circumstances these individuals have left their positions, I make no judgement on that. I find the timing of so many resignations extremely curious and a temporal marker in history of high significance. No one should assume I make any judgment about the character of these people. I frankly don't know their reputations except for a few rather famous ones.

This list includes Banks, Investment Houses, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Equity Funds, Savings Retirement Funds and other shadow banking organizations. The line is very blurry between these entities, some are owned by banks some are banks, some invest in banks as well as owning entire industries (common in Hong Kong and Japan).

We are moving into a new time, a new age some say as we are coming to what some call the “end times”.  Are these the end of the world (Armageddon) or just the end of an age that has been predicted for 2012 by many cultures? The mainstream media is not going to be helpful informing us as the changes are happening and to be “forewarned is to be forearmed” as the saying goes. There is unrest among the people, rumors and dis-information to create and generate fear of a WWIII nuclear war, executive orders which usurp even more of our liberty/freedom from the people.  Meanwhile the “haves” get more and the “have-nots” have even less. 

Just yesterday, I read an article posted on the 4 Winds10 website entitled, Whose Recovery? Many Remain in Critical Condition” Below, I have inserted a few of the interesting points quoted from that article.

For luxury retailers, owners of high-end restaurants, sellers of upscale cars, vacation planners, financial advisors, and  personal coaches, as well as their customers and clients the recession is over.  The recovery is now full speed for the top 10%, meanwhile protesters are rallying against economic injustice.

“But the rest of America is not enjoying an economic recovery.  It’s still sick. Many Americans remain in critical condition...it’s almost a certainty that all the gains went to the top 10 percent, and that the lion’s share to the top 1 percent, with almost a third of the gains to the 15,600 super-rich households in the top one-tenth of one percent.”

“According to an analysis of the tax returns by Emmanuel Saez and Thomas Pikkety, the top 1 percent pocketed 93 percent of the gains in 2010, while 37 percent of the gains went to the top one-tenth of one percent.  No one below the richest 10 percent saw any gain at all.” 

Most of the bottom 90 percent have lost ground, for those who are still employed, their AGI was down $127 from 2009 in 2010 and a whopping $4,843 from 2000.

These numbers are all adjusted for inflation, and do not take into account those who are on “fixed incomes”.  Specifically seniors whose investment and retirement plans were decimated by events such as the bursting of the “dot.com” and housing bubbles, the 2008 “too big to fail” bank bail outs and have been negatively affected by the double digit inflation which ensued, which reduced their dollar’s purchasing power for survival necessities (think food, gasoline, heat, utilities).

Many seniors are now completely dependent upon the receipt of their monthly social security (with no cost of living adjustment for two of the past three years).  Their 40 to 50 years of working years savings and investments were wiped out all while they were contributing to the wealth of the corporate CEO’s for whom they gave their most productive years working, paying into social security and taxes.  

For many the week or so before their next social security check arrives are plagued by questions such as:

Will there be enough food to eat until the next check comes?

Can I afford to drive to visit family and still buy food and gas?

Will I be able to pay for heat until it gets warm again in spring?

Am I going to be able to meet the rent or mortgage payment this month?

So I ask you to ponder these thoughts from some great thinkers below as we decide how much longer we are going to allow these control freaks, who for some reason believe they are entitled to steal our liberty, freedom, life energy (money) and sustenance.

Only as long as we continue to allow them to do so.
